I dont normally use this function and I need to disable the button since I tend to hit it accidentally. Been looking in the manual and could never find it! Anyone out there knows???

ZLauncher will let you re-assign it.
BT Toggle will let you disable it unless pressed for x seconds

you can use Flexbutton to disable or change it to the power button. Quite nifty.

Or you can use Mcphling as well to reassign it to pop up a list of applications. I find that Mcphling works best. I put a bunch of favorites in it like: MS Dict, Audioplayer, Agendus, PocketMoney, WA CLock and now I never use my stylus . I whip out the TG, press the voice recorder which brings me up a list of my favorite apps, and I scroll down with jogdial.

Mcfling...I have it set up so when I press rec I see AOL, AIM, Netfront, and Prefs at the top, below are like 6 of the last used apps.

Thanks guys.

Qlaunch doens't work, or rather I could not get it to work as such to enable the stay off functionality.

I tried McPhling, and yes, assigning this button as a Application Activation key is great (I have to use a custom button though as Sony's Rec button is not in the list).

FlexButton... I can't figure it out as under Clié I am not sure which is the Voice Rec button...

Anyways, all I wanted was just to disable the little button...

As wat a_clie_er mentioned, just put your Clie on hold when you are carrying it around. Make it a habit!

Oh no please dont get me wrong. I do use the hold button, but I tend to hit it accidentally when holding and using it... and it starts recording... had to tap stop and then delete, its annoying.

Thanks anyways for your concern. I'll stick with McPhiling for now.

Hmm... I never had the problem, my thumb tends to be near the jog dial instead of way higher up at the voice record button as it feels more stable holding it near the jog dial than the voice record (for me). ;)
