Yup, palmclienx, it doesn't take that long. I've made 700+ posts in the period of May2003- Aug2003. Even though I registered in Dec2002, I never posted till May cuz I wanted to wait till I had more knowledge b4 I started sharing :)

Are you from Hong Kong? It sounds like Hong Kong style English to me. By the way did you intentionally spell "Palm" as "Plam"? Many Chinese people make that mistake.

It really seems that he/she is from Hong Kong... but how come people spell Palm as Plam? It sounds differently when you read it out...

Haha.. Plam sounds like Plum.... maybe he/she likes sour plums or plum juice? :D
Oh yah...btw, think most chinese know what "add oil" means too, we in singapore use it as an encouragement all the time... so he/she may be from anywhere in the world where there are chinese people :)

Opps...first time spell wrongly? heez....looks your spelling for other words ain't so good either. :D just kidding around, don't be offended :)
With the speed at which people type at nowadays, some typo errors can be expected of course, and this is just a forum... typos doesn't really matter as long as other people still understand what you are trying to bring across :)

PalmClienx, I think you can PM one of the moderators to ask for help to change your user name. I know that NR70BOY managed to change his username to NX70BOY when he changed Clies :)

I wouldn't worry about it. I've seen "Plam" for "Palm" all over the Internet and have mistyped it a few times myself. It seems to be an easy word to switch the "a" and "l" ;) I don't think you can change your username (perhaps one of the moderators could), but I would just leave it alone unless it just bugs you to no end. ;)

Sorry I wasn't trying to laugh at you. In fact I am from Hong Kong too, and I make grammar and spelling mistakes all the time. I was just trying to remind you to use International English instead of Hong Kong English, so everyone here could understand what you are saying.

Why isn't there an SJ33 among the preset choices of avatars?
well, many new avatars are in progress, I think....
I've read about it on another thread. Along with some new avatars for the NX80/73 also. :)
custom ones are still the best!

That's a chinese expression, means that he will puts more effort to acheive the goal.
I think is like comparing to add oil to a fire, so u can imagining wat will happen
;)
cookies cookies cookies... :p
it just happens once in a while, they just vanish then have to manually log back in CS.
& about the "add oil" I was so surprised to have read it the first time it was posted, no intimidation here, don't get me wrong :).
I understood the meaning behind it right away, just the thought of it being posted here in CS, where a mixture of nationality of people are present, like somebody mentioned earlier in this thread, international English might perhaps be of better choice.
Sorry that I didn't want to bring this back up as it'll only bring up an endless loop of discussions. So may it end here. Don't shoot!
