pretec 256mb cf card & eruware driver

Hi,

I am planning to buy a new CF card , Pretec 256MB but I did not see it on Eruware's supported CF cards list or anyone mentioning it on ClieSource.
Does anyone had any chance to test this card or any other Pretec with Eruware CF driver ?

I want to be able to play mp3 from this card.

I've received a reply from Eruware saying there were users with Pretec cards. I've ordered the Pretec 256MB card.
Waiting to arrive... :)
Then I can write the results...

I checked my local Digi Cam store and found that the only CF card they have instock is Pretec... I didn't buy it until now coz am not sure if Eruware supports it ..
I will apprecaite any info too...

I will be waiting for u to test it ilkera ,,, I would really love to hear ur feedback on da card :D

Hi,

Finally I received my Pretec 256MB CF card. I currently have the Eruware driver on my Clie and the card is recognized as a storage media of 250MB. I can reach it with Clie Files and Zlauncher File manager. I did not test it with MP3 or Movie yet but I will when I go home.

Is there any other test you would suggest/want me to try ?

testing on the CF
well, try one of the CF drivers or Eruware, whichever is your preference, then first thing I would play with is MP3s & MoviePlayer to playback movies. These two things are what I find to be most crutial factor of having the CF Card. :D

movie and mp3 plays fine from 256MB Pretec CF card.
I am using NX73 3bit patched driver on NX70 and the order of inserting the cards (CF first then MS) works fine with following applications:

Movie Player
Audio Player
MS Backup

yep, the NX73 3-bit works just perfectly with the NX70 series. :D

Oh, ilkera, the MS Backup would work & save to the CF Card, but just remember that you would still need a regular MemoryStick to do an initial "on the spot" recovery, from a hard-reset. :)
you can also put many of your applications on your CF Card on the /PALM/Launcher/ folder, & have programs run from there. It's just like an extra MemoryStick on the side. ;)
