NX Apps On NR Question

Based on some discussions on this forum, I upgraded my Clie NR70V to the NX versions of the Address Book, Memo Pad, To Do List, and Date Book.  My only problem now is that when I try to add photos to the Address Book entries, I receive the error message: The PhotoGallery Software is not installed on this device.  Please install necessary application and try again.  I am not sure which NX application file that would be since I can't find one by that name.  Can somebody tell me the name of the actual PRC file I need to install?  Any help would be appreciated.

There is none, the NX apps don't support the picture feature that the regular NR version does. I sounds like you have both versions loaded up which is why you are still seeing the option, but because you have the NX version loaded it won't work.

What even worse is the only way to revert back to the old programs is a gasp....hard reset. That one little problem bothered me enough that I did just that to fix it.

Well, the file you need i think is Clie Viewer, however it is an OS5 only app, so that means that although the NX version of address book supports pictures, you can't put them, b/c there is no way to load up the pictures to put on. I was able to delete the old programs simply by using jackflash and deleting them. If that doesn't work/you don't have jackflash, do a warm reset (hold up during reset) andt r ying deleting it.

Thanks for all the help, everyone.  I was afraid I would have to do a hard reset.  Oh well, it's the first one I have needed to do since I bought the NR70V.  Thanks again.
