Memory Leak??

Have any of you experienced a memory leak?


Example: The other day i was on my launcher screen and i turned on some music and suddenly i had 500K less space and even when i turned the music off i still had 500K less space.


Example 2: I was looking for an app in my launcher and all of the sudden i had 1 Megabyte less space!!!! Anyone know what would cause that to happen?

it happens to me as well... it seems the RAM space is fluctuating.. but mine is within 150k limit... sometime 150k less or 150k more.. seems irritating but so far it does not coz any serious problem..

You could very likely have a memory leak in a specific piece of software. I found a memory leak in a beta version of Acid Image several months back.

If you do a soft reset you should get your ram back.

i think i found out what it was, i had an beta version if zlauncher installed, when i installed the updated version all of my problems dissapered

I have a brand new NX 80v and am having the same trouble with memory leak. I have reset a few times and this took care of it but not now. I started out with 2.3m of memory. I played with the camera and movie apps and set up to send myself a pix by e mail when I sync next to try that feature. When I finished, I had 1.5m of memory. I figured that after pix on email was sent, this might go back up to 2.3, but no luck. Still 1.5.

I am using trial version of Acid Image and it is located on MS.I also use PowerRun for some apps including Wassup (which I know in the past has been a source of memory leak when apps were launched fro the program.) Can anyone help?
