ok I'm about to throw my NZ90 out the window... I've been trying and trying and TRYING to install stupid Netfront onto the damn stupid Clie but I JUST CANT.
I'm seriously getting SOOOOOOOOo bloody frustrated!!!!
I've tried installing it onto the Clie, onto the Memory Stick, transfering it all around... I'm using ZLauncher so I'm going crazy trying to get the damn thing to play!!!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LAUNCH IT IF THE DUMB CLIE HAS NO SPACE???????? I've almost taken EVERYTHING of it, but the stupid thing still JUST WONT PLAY.
What am I doing wrong???????? Apart from my emails that are saved in there, there isn't too much software installed. WHAT DO I DO???
Grrrrrrrr

You need to have 6 to 8 megabytes free. In some cases it may even require a hard reset before installing it. Then make it the first app to be installed. If the Icon doesn't show up in the launcher, it's not installed.
Do not try to install v1.1.47 as that is NOT the install file, but a copied version from the NX80 ROM. You can download v1.1.36 from the Sony support site.

Thanks Larry!! Knew I could count on you for a response!
Do you know how to run NetFront from my MS using ZLauncher?
I will try the hard reset and using the new version route as well.. only thing is it takes up so much space that I'm confused as to how I get anything else to fit in there! If I do a hard reset and then hotsynch, will I loose all my information?
Also, what on earth is MSTV?? Very curious!
You're so helpful... thanks a lot :)

You might want to go to the top of the NX forum where you can get the netfront that works with hotmail (it does work, a lot of people tried it) and yes, with Zlauncher or PowerRun you can run from the MS. But I would suggest JackFlash from Brayder that lets you use the free flash rom space in your clie.
We'll be here if you have questions. :)

Make sure you have the latest version of ZL v3.50.1.
Install NetFront v1.1.36 for now, you can always go back and try the NX73/80 version. Installation is tricky, but for now, why complicate things. You still have to install NetFront anyway in order to upgrade it. School is out as to whether it is worthwhile. Additionally, you can also update to the modified Hotmail version too, provided you know the right tricks. I don't want to overwhelm or confuse you, just yet :D!
Tap and hold on the NetFront ICON in ZL, after a couple of seconds, a menu will pop up with choices. Select move to card and follow any additional prompts. Now you RAM will only be taken up by a couple of K now :). ZL will load the app and when done will update and move it back to the memory stick. If you ever need to do a hard reset, just use 'update shortcuts' in the pull down ZL menu under options, and bingo, all your shortcuts will be recreated. MS Backup doesn't backup the short cuts, but Backupman will.
It was a prototype by Sony, a memory stick Television ;)
