Contact sony if you registered you product, you have a 1 year limited warranty.

As far as I know the battery you need is PDA0016A this replaces the
Sony UP503759-NR70 which is the battery specified for the NX70v
(and also the NR70)

Yeah definitely try Ebay. That's where I am about to order mine too b/c I have a battery problem as well. You can get a brand new battery fairly cheap. $15 or $20USD.
