Can SJ22/SJ33 be used as remote control (for TV/VCR/...) like the T/TG series?
Can memory stick pro (256M) be used in SJ22/SJ33? Or it only supports 125M maximum?

Yes they can be used as remotes with the appropriate application, although they do not feature enhanced IR.
The SJ series isn't compatible with MS Pro
From what I've read elsewhere here at ClieSource, you would be unhappy with trying to use a SJ33 as a remote. Appearantly the enhance remote feature, which is not on the SJ33, makes a HUGE difference. Here are a couple of threads I found on the subject:

I use NoviiRemote on my SJ33. It works ok, but the range is nothing to brag about. It will function at 10 feet away from the TV maximum. I

I just got back from a biz trip where I tried to use OmniRemote with my SJ33, and the range was to short to be usable in the room I was in.
