Sending pics from NX to phone via IR?

Well, I'm about to get a NX80 (ordered and waiting to arrive) and was wondering if there was any way of sending pictures directly from the Clie to the Nokia 6610/6100/7210(etc) via infra-red.

Is there any software out there that can do that?

I've been thinking, if it cant then I'll have to go out and buy myself another nokia camera for sending pics directly from phone -> email / phone -> phone (If I'm out and don't have access to PC) or the PC dosent have the software to connect to the Clie/phone.

yeah, it just makes me wonder if the phone will recieve it though :S wouldnt it have some sort of protocool etc to recognise the file and know that its supposed to recieve it

I have a Sony Ericsson T300 phone and i can transfer images and contacts back and forth between the phone and my clie (NX70V). It works so easy and seamilessly, I love it.

How do you send these to your phone?

My dad has a t68i (basically the same as a t300 I think), and I'd like to try this out. Do you use the built in beam application in the clié launcher, and does the phone need to be set up first?

you just select a file with the clie, tell it to beam, and then have ur t68i or t300 or whatever sony ericsson phone on recieve mode, or have the infrared on all the time....

the two devices will recognize each other, and the phone will ask if you want to accept the file, of course u want to accept it, and after that there is nothing more u need to do...the phone wil save all the pictures under my pictures, all the sounds under my sounds, and all the themes under themes...

only problem with trying to get sound for the t68i is that it uses emy and imy sound files i believe...which the clie will not recognize and will not accept it being saved =\

i dont know how the nokia phones work however

There is software for the palm called eritones that can handle the ringtone files.

thats a start... thanks :) I would love it if someone knows about sending pic though... I'm trying tto find answers from nokia and other PDA/cellphone forums myself.
