View Full Version : UX-50 and UX-40 differentiate in colors?

I'm looking at pictures of both, and it seems the UX-50 has a darker, more black border around the screen, and the UX-40 has a lighter, more greyish border around the screen.

However, thet keyboard for the UX-50 looks like a lighter grey, and the UX-40 keyboard looks like a more gunmetal grey.

The UX-40 looks more appealing in terms of color to me.

19 views, and nobody can confirm or refute this?

can anyone agree that the border around screen/keyboard colors differentiate between the two models?

hmmm could you supply a link to what you're talking about cause i've looked and they kinda look the same to me..... but maybe i'm missing something

oh yeah you're right.......it is a little more gunmentaland the outter border of the screen is lighter.....hmm i think i'm gonna like the 40 better than the 50

yeah same, the ux40 looks sexier. i would've enjoyed a black screen border + gunmental keyboard, but it'll do.

i don't have use for wifi, so 40 is the way to go!

Isn't really advertised as having different metal/border colors. And in your preview on Brighthand, Ed, the only color-cosmetic thing you stated was that the border around the screen was black/grey in the different models, but you didn't state the different keyboard colors.

and I wasn't a huge clie buff, I'm more a Tungsten man, myself, but I'm going to make the switch.

they should've made both models look the same. just different model #'s on the outside =p

I agree.... I think the 40 looks cooler, but I have to have my WiFi. The 50 does have a very clean look to it though. I bet they will both look more impressive in person.
