View Full Version : Is it just me, am I weird?

Several months ago TapPad was running a special, so I decided to try the thirty day trial. Part of the trial required me to print off a paper template and tape it to my graffitti area of my N760C. I used standard weight printer paper...

...and I like it! My graffitti recognition went up significantly and I like the feel of stylus to paper. Best of all, I am protecting my screen and the paper is inexpensive (yes I still have a screen protector on).

So I ask, anyone else doing like me or am I a sole weirdo out there happily graffitting away?

I think you might be the sole weirdo. :D

How on earth do you get the paper to stick??

RHart, it may be low tech but sometimes cheaper is better :)

Jims, I use Scotch tape to tape the paper down and it works well. I might keep using TapPad but I won't bother with the templates they send me, I will just make my own!

For what it's worth, Scotch 811 (the removable kind) comes in a 3/4-inch width that is just the width of the Graffitti/button area. A roll of it lasts um, about forever, and it provides a paper-like feel under all the styli on which I've tried it.

agreed - I used scotch tape on my previous device (Vx) for many months. It's super cheap, protective, and effective!

Try removing the paper - you might find that you need to press lighter but it works just as well(?)
