'Paranoia' zLauncher skin

I really should wait until I'm done, but I'm working on a little skin someone else may want to use. ;) I'm a *BIG* fan of minimalistic style desktops, and this is no exception.

Keep in mind its my first skin for zLauncher, and that I may or may not decide to release it (lots of work to get every single icon re-designed).

Still I'm enjoying being able to truly customize my PDA :)

Looks good to me, Im not a big fan of clutter either - simplier is better.

I hope you decide to release it. It looks really nice. The simpler skins go better with backgrounds and the app icons IMO.

It's hidden in the anime section of the YiShow backgrounds.. I picked something that I figured *I* would pick as wallpaper, it seems to work well, tho I've since changed it, now that zLauncher is all configured :D

If I release it, it's probbly gonna be a little while longer, since the only thing left is the hard part, designing the 400,000 little icons. I also will probbly be tweaking some other things.

Aren't theose BlueCurve icons the best? I used them in a homemade SilverScreen skin I did too. Hope for your sake the original author doesn't catch on (or doesn't care).

Every single version I found of them followed under the GPL license, and I've already modified quite a few of them to fit better, since the icons don't fit perfectly. They are by far one of the better looking system icons I've seen. :)

Provided I get enough free time to finish the theme in the next few days, I may just release it ;)

It's coming along nicely, albeit it's taking as long as I expected :) I am just about done all the icons, and then I just have to tweak some of it, and then I can release it. :D

I figure I'll keep making new skins every time I get bored with the current one ;)

This is a pre-release version, and as such not all the icons are finished. I have been stalling recently due to life/work/chix0r/etc.. but I finished up a bunch more and decided to give you guys a better taste :)


Since it's a pre-release, I'm not quite ready for it to be in the downloads section or spread around the world, so nobody get any ideas, but feel free to download it yourselves. ;)


As far as it working on a Tungsten, I have no idea.. since I've only been able to test it on the OS5 Simulator and my TG50. I will be tweaking the skin further, but feel free to PM or e-mail me any bugs/issues. Well, other than the missing icons, cause I know about those :)

Anyways, enjoy!

I downloaded and installed the skin in my Tungsten T, but it did not work neither. :(

If I check the Theme Manager Info option for the Paranoia Skin, Zlauncher says it is designed for Sony HiRes,16bit devices, while most skins I have are for High-Density,16bit.

Does anybody know how to make it work for other devices too?

Festus...anyone...help? ;)

Making it work on the Tungsten T was more a case of procrastination, than not knowing how. ;) I just updated the zip file with a version that should work, so feel free to be my guinea pigs. :D
