View Full Version : No Auto-off in Craddle

Hello,

I have set the auto-off function to 2 minutes and the "stay on while in docking-station" checked, but it switches off after 2 minutes.

It seams that this happens after a hard reset and backup from the MS.

Any Ideas?

Regards
Carsten

I'm not sure about in NX. I have this problem in my old m505. I solve this problem by set this..

Security | AutoLockHandheld: | Never

Hi Carsten, I have also got the same PDA and in fact still playing around with the various customisations - what I will say is that if the unit is powering off in the cradle - make sure you have your cradle power supply turned on. I believe the PDA will always switch off after your auto-off time has been reached especially where it does not detect any external power going to the unit. That's my thought anyway ....

I seem to have a similar problem but my palm NX only wants to stay awake when there is an error during hotsync....that or i play music in the background with audioplayer.

Blue_wind has it correctly... the security item is powering off the unit. Perhaps there is a hack that will allow both items to function.

vansouza, you are right.
It would be ok, if the the security feature would power off at the time if have set it to (1 hour). But it switches off, after 2 Minutes (Auto-off).

Ok, so I have to decide between security and let it on in the craddle.

Thanks for all the answers.
