Damn, that does suck......this is why I don't like Dell and will no longer order products from them unless I am able to be patient.

Once they run out of stock they tend not to replenish. I ordered an Ipod from Dell and they eventually cancelled the order about 2 months later. On the other hand I ordered an NX73 a few weeks ago and got it two days laters. The only way to actually get your order from Dell is when the product first comes out.

Not to mention the fact that they blatantly lie, I believe they're playing some kind accounting game. I think their financial quarter ends soon, and they're trying to inflate sales. Once that passes they'll keep delaying until you cancel, especially if you paid a low price. This has happened to me many times. You'll be lucky to get your order by September if at all. I considered filing a complaint with the BBB but I'm not sure what to say.

This is not new for Dell. IMHO, they have gone down hill I believe they pulled the same crap with the NX60/70 and had missleading information on the Gun Metal Clie!
