Does anyone know a program that will allow the Clie to control a DirectTV box? None of the progs I found will work with a Sat box...
Thanks,
Erik

OmniRemote works well for most devices, but as of last time I checked it does not work with Sats.

I read that OmniRemote has some os5 issues, especially for the NX. It beams about 1 foot and that's it. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Oh and the ProntoLite says that it is "only compatible with PalmOS version 3.5x and 4.x"
Any other suggestions?

Yes i tried the OMni remote, it took them a while to get it to work on the NX, and it would have been great if I did not have to stand 12 inches or less in fornt of the device in order to get it to work...kind of defeats having a remote control..lol

Pronto is a stand-alone remote control, not a palm app. I use sony's stand-alone all in one touch remote for everyday use.

The web page says for PDA...
Pronto Lite is for Palms...
It just doesn't say anything about NX series or OS5...

I have received the following response from Pronto:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Current version of ProntoLite for Palm is not os5 compatible. We are making os5
compatible version but we do not have
release date for it yet. Please check time to time http://www.pronto.philips.com for
update on this issue.
