I'm looking into the NX-80 and I have some questions about the camera...

1) How is the image quality compared to other 1.3 Mpixel cameras (especially color quality)?

2) How well does it do in low-light conditions? very bright conditions? at night?

3) Does it have a flash? a zoom? a macro mode?

thx

Not bad, but a regualer digital camera will do better, for one thing the lens is better.

It has it's limitations, it certainly can't replace my other camera with night shot capability.

No, just a bright LED light, 2X digital(not optical), no macro mode!

thx

1. agree with larry
2. agree with larry .. if you shoot at still object and your hand not shaking at all .. the picture is kinda nice and clear ..
3. not flash but capture light .. it doesn't help except you close up your object and take the picture with it .. i alway use it when i wake up at night and i'm lazy to reach the light in my room ..

I concur with neogin and larry, just have one more point to add. Activating the capture light not only turns on the LED, but it also slows down the shutter speed. What you get is brighter and clear images(provided your hand doesn't shake) even if the LED is too far away from the subject. The capture light is sort of like the night shot function of regular cameras. Try taking a photo of a moving car at night and you'll see nice red streaking tail lights.
I think that no macro mode kind of sucks, but I don't think they could have possibly squeezed in an additional macro lens in that small package, so the NX80 camera is alreay a job well done for that size.

You can also select slow shutter speed without using the flash. I just took a whole lot of pictures with it yesterday, and they came out surprisingly well (especially those where I had a railing to lean the Clie on).
