Is ther a better browser for the NX70v than NetFront.

My main issue is no seprate window when needed.

I can get to my corporte webmail, but cannot read (or reply) to any messages as the browser will not open another window.

TIA

No not really, NetFront needs more work too.

You could try Web Pro V

free!

I think netfront is the best browser currently available... it renders pages better than the others but still needs a lot of improvement... I think in a year or so we'll se full featured browsers for handheld devices... I think not even pocket IE is that good...

NetFront for the Pocket PC is pretty sweet.

does it support flash?

NetFront runs a whole lot better on the NX80 than the NX70. The reason I believe is the larger heap memory on the NX80.

On the NX70, all versions run about the same. For general reading of the news and weather, I still prefer PocketLink II!

Yes, I believe you can stuff it in Flash, once it's installed to RAM first.

NF is King of all WB. The only downfall for me personaly is the fact that I can't get to my Hotmail thru any link out there

i remember that there was a crack or patched version to enable hotmail...do a search

i have both NF and WebproV installed on my NZ.
i personally find webpro a bit nicer in interface..but NF is slightly faster

WHat about AvantGo?

AvantGo isn't a true web browser. Its only for downloading pages from your PC. Netfront is the best real browser (means you can use it with a wifi connection and browse live pages) for palm OS.

Yes, AvantGo can download webpages to your PDA. It is also a webBrowser too. It is possible for it to load webpages when connected to the internet.

IMO, I like WebPro. It is by far the best I've used so far in terms of speed, performance and I don't get a "Page Too Big" problem from NetFront. Besides, with WebPro, I can select which pictures to load and which ones not to.

Can you have Webpro and Netfront both on your clie and use either or for the different applications they work well with. Netfront for Surfing, Webpro for accessing email?

I use Avantgo for my web browsing. It's not as good as NF for some sites. It does a great job with the ClieSource Mobile site!

So how about that Opera thing that's coming out?

Also, if you can't reply to anything or check Hotmail, what use is the wireless connection? I mean, can you send mail, chat with friends, download stuff (like .PDF files) off websites???

I'd love to buy a wireless card but it's seeming like it's more and more useless the more I read about the limitations.

Please elaborate on the functionalities of yours!!!

Yahoo works great on the UX50 with Netfront. No issues with browsing, mail, etc... Ebay also works well.

For some reason Hotmail and anything that pops up seperate windows does not work. There is a patch for the hotmail issue but I just use Yahoo now as it is much better.
