hey everyone, i'm planning to enter the world of full-featured PDAs with a purchase of an NX 70v -- pretty excited.

first off, thanks to everyone for the great resource -- this forum has been invaluable in helping me figure out which Clie i wanted, and where to expect troubles and how to find solutions.

i have a few questions, thanks in advance for your attention:

1. if i get the EruWare cf driver software, do i need a memory stick at all?

2. it sounds like the EruWare software is a much better decision than the memory stick pro upgrade -- anyone disagree?

3. depending on the answer to #1, do i need to get a pc-based media drive (read / write) that supports MS as well as CF, or can i just get a regular CF drive?

Yes, even if it's a small one

It all depends, you still need to download and install the MS Pro driver to take full advantage of the EruWare driver. The problem is with the Sony apps, third party apps work great with the CF driver.

If you get a reader, then it can't hurt to have an MS slot in it too.
