NX73 and PEGA-BC10 battery adaptor

Can anyone confirm that the battery adaptor (PEGA-BC10) works with the NX 73 please. (Sony can't):confused:

Yea I use it pretty often. Using a set to 2000mAH NiMH rechargeable batteries I can get a few charges in. Check ebay and you can get one for around 10-12 bucks shipped.

My battery adaptor works very well with my NX80 too. But it's now collecting dust as the new NX has such good battery life that I don't find myself running out of juice when I'm not home.

yea I definately don't use it as much anymore. However I was out of town for 4 days last weekend and I ended up using it on the plane while I was watching videos. I can make it through my longest normal day (7 hours) playing mp3's continuously without needing the battery adapter with my NX73.

I never heard of it before but did a google search (very rare dutch results) but it sounds usefull

it is available in europe!

btw: i made it myself. if you know small equippement shop for electronic parts you can get battery holder for just some cents. i connected them with wires to the delivered power and usb adaptor...

Thanks to all participants. I have ordered one for £37 inc postage. I hope it has the 3 way "ON" "CHARGE" & "OFF" switch on it.Can't think it will be any different to rest of the world

You should know, though, that the NX's battery drains faster than normal when charged with this accessory. I have been able to actually watch the battery indicator slip down step-by-step!!

It works, but a full charge is not really a "full charge".

Benvolio. Can you elaborate on your draining theory. You make it sound as if the NX battery actually charges the 4 AA batteries!!!! I will be using 2000m/ah M/H AA's
