So, I just sold my NR70V like 1 or 2 months ago and was waiting for something good from Sony to upgrade. I decided on the NZ90 because of the bigger camera resolution and flash plus built-in bluetooth. But the problem now is that I found it very big and not something that I would like to carry everytime like I did with my NR70V. That, and a couple of things too have desceptioned me..
So, now I am just thinking of downgrade to the european version of the NX73V, since it have built-in bluetooth. But, I am so undecided as to this unit only has a 310,000 pixel camera and no Flash. I am not constantly taking photos if you ask me, but I found the flash a nice addition on the NZ90 after having it for two days now.
So, I would like to hear opinions from you guys as to what should I do. Should I downgrade ? or should I just keep the NZ90?
Thanks for the suggestions!
Sounds like you're going to have to compromise: size versus features.
Make a list from most important to least important of what features you want in a handheld and see what you come up with.
are u really going to use BT?
is it more important than the cam for u?

after a week.... or two .... you really won't notice the size of the NZ...... I thought it was a bit bulky at first... but... after a week or two... you don't even notice it... seens as normal as any other handheld.

Bluetooth is important to me having it embeded. I think eventually it will be more important that the camera. But one can say that with a 640x480 CMOS camera, you are near to have nothing.

Yeah, it looks like. What bothers me also about the NZ90 is, that after installing all the updates on the SonyStyle support website, I am almost out of space, near 6mb or so. Differs from the NX73V, which will have everything built-in into the ROM (even with the same accesable memory though, 11mb).

I hope so.. since I really like it because of all the features built-in, besides, as oppose to others, I am having a great battery life out of it.
Thanks you all guys!
well if bt is more important then go for the euro nx73 or stick to the nz
640x480 isnt that bad if it's for just quick shots
especially if u already have a real digi-cam

Onboard BT is one of the main reasons I got the NZ over the NX too. As far as your memory problems, I have three suggestions: Get JackFlash for almost 4MB of memory available in flash memory (toss Netfront and a few other big programs in there!). Secondly, PowerRun (and zlauncher) will run any program from a memory stick, but should mainly be used for programs that you don't use all the time. Lastly, don't install all of the available Sony updates. If you don't need MP3 sound in Flash movies or don't use Clieviewer much, don't waste the hundreds of kB the updates suck up. Just install what you need, although the MSPro and Camera updates are both widely recommended. I only use about 3 or 4 of Sony's updates.
The trick to containing the NZ's bulk (it's camera hump. really) is to find a way to carry it easily. Myself, I use a holster-style belt clip.

Very nice suggestions there Drachen, very much appreciated! I will try then ASAP. I will try myself to first try the NX73V to even think about it. That's why I will stop tomorrow on my way to work to see it on the stores and "feel" it. Then I will determine how much I will like it.

How about NX80V? It has a 1.1 megapixel camera which would fit your need and a light capture feature.

The NX80 doesn't have built-in BT.

If you enjoy the camera and use it often, you should keep the NZ.
