Slow MS Transfer?

How long should it take to sync a Kinoma movie directly to the memory stick using HotSync? So far its been around an hour syncing a 55MB file to the stick.

Direct transfers seem to go quickly, but since the movie was a .pdb file I assume I have to sync it and can't just copy it directly to the stick.

I don't think your assumption is correct. Hotsyncing to the stick is the same as directly copying.

I synced a 44 mb episode of Family guy yesterday and it took a little less then a minute and a half.

Hmmm... I was referring to a Family Guy episode, too. I wonder if it has something to do with this Lexar memory stick.

I'll have to experiment a little.

I'm wondering the same thing... I picked up a used T615 from ebay, excellent condition, and today I got a 64 mb Lexar memory stick. It is virtually taking forever to transfer the movie files I've encoded. I am getting quite impatient cause I want to test the movies on the Clie and try to tweak the settings but this slow transfer is really making it a horrible experience. I'm currently transfering a 41 Mb Seinfeld episode but it's been going for some 20 minutes....
