I was really looking forward to the new clamshell CLIE, but after seeing them and getting all the info I think I was lucky to get my TG50 for such a nice price with the rebate. For every nice feature of the UX, there seems to be a con-
320 x 480, but only in landscape mode and small physical size
Lots of memory, but only 16 MB regular usable
W-Fi and BT, but expensive
Cheaper model available, but no Wi-Fi
Relatively small, but kind of wide
Bigger keyboard, but not convenient for 1-handed usage
Seems powerful, but new processor (compatibility?)
Poor battery life (9 days, even the T665 was 10 days!)
I still think it's a nice new model, but it just doesn't seem to make sense for me. My TG50 is sweet, and cost less than half as much.
I already really like the TG50 keyboard, so the sticky keys will make it even better. The only thing left is hopefully Strataflash access, or a 3rd-party 32MB upgrade.
