<DIV class=cmc>Larger (3.8") 320X480 portrait and landscape mode transflective display with dual SDIO &amp; bluetooth &amp; built-in stereo speakers &amp; Palm Universal Connector (for keyboard?) at the bottom of the landscape mode. I'm thinking the Tapwave Helix could be better than this SONY thumboard. Personally, I would rather have a full-size folding keyboard for when I need to type fast and less bulk for when I don't. The Tapwave should be slightly thinner (.6") and slightly lighter (less than 6 oz), although some say the overall size will be rather large. We should be getting one more fact tomorrow ... Just tell us everything all at once.

Personally, I think it all depends on how well Tapwave cultivates software titles (other than games).</DIV>

:D Good thing you brought this up. This might be another reason why Sony decided to create their own processor. If helix has a special video processor to run 3D and enhanced sound, how similar will the Sony chip be?

I have never even seen the Tapwave Helix, but I don't think I would care to either.

I believe the Helix will be the "Handspring Visor (Solo)" of the 21st century. The cheap, fun alternative. Hopefully, Tapwave won't have Handspring's misfortune.

Handspring was doing great, until it got into the Treo line :(

First impressions on Brighthand and elsewhere seemed kind of rectangular and professional looking, but the Tapwave website is now hinting at a curvey form factor that looks more like a gamer's toy. Pricing is supposed to be $200 and $300 with a camera. The low price is what concerns me most about the Tapwave, leading me to believe it will only be for gamers. We've known all along it was primarily intended for gamers, but the specs are tempting nonetheless for more more sophisticated&nbsp;use. No offense intended to gamers!
