call me dumb but i like to see camera resolution in megapixels to be able to understand the quality.. does any one know how much the camera quality in this clie is in megapixels..
personally i like the cameras on clie (except for the resolution they give especially on nx70) i thought the 1.3 megapixel camera on clie nx80 was a step in the right direction.. i wonder if they have carried on in the right direction.....
my 2 cents.... i'd wait for os6 devices.

0.3 mp. it sucks!!! i can accept nothing lower than 1.3 mp as the nx80v. everything else is awesome, but the shape

Problem is the size. The higher the resolution, the bigger the camera has to be. They made a compromise. An 1.3 MP camera would make the hinge too large.

i do wished that it had the 1.3MP camera too. but i guess sony still wants to sell their digicams, so they'd never make it a true replacement (at least until competition catches up).

same argument for not making movie modes in digicams better than camcorder... and vice versa for stills on camcorder..

If I want a camera, I'd get a camera, althought I already have several of those. To me the Clie camera is just for incidental picture taking that you can email. Higher pixels mean more memory and more bandwidth is needed. What's the point of taking an email photo with a 5 megapixel camera??

why drive a porsche on city streets? why use p4 when you only need p3? why buy 1gig if not all used?

so we have the flexability, if we choose.

unfortunately, flexibility usually comes with a cost... could be price, could be size, both of which i won't compromise for that bit of added flexibility...

it would have been nice that UX had the 1.3MP camera. think it's a marketing move so as not to cannibalise sales from the NX80.. oh well

Porsche?? Call that flexible? Shoot I drive a full size Ford 4WD Lariat Pickup with cap and extended cab. It will blow the doors off of a Porcsche any day that it's snowing! Now that's flexibility :D
