Everyone was like... i dont want it, i dont like it and all that, and now that they have gone to play with them, Guess what? They love it! I wonder if this unit will be the same way... ??? I am deffinatly waiting for OS6... because it looks as though sony has NO plans to upgrade the current Clies...

I am tempted just by the integrated WLAN and bluetooth and the non-volatile backup memory.

I think a LOT of what people didn't like with the NX73/80 was lack of wireless (except for those lucky folks in France/UK). This unit is instead the most feature-rich wireless PDA out there. I think it will sell well.

... that's with the additional add-on battery that doubles the size (thickness) of the unit.

I personally believe that this (will) be one of (if not) the best PDA out there.

It's certainly got a lot going for it and with 104 MB of memory and dual wireless ya don't even need a CF slot.
Too bad the camera's not the 1.2MP one like in the NZ80 and that it's a CMOS chip and not CCD. That means crap grainy images. Oh well...
An NZ90 is looking better all the time...

LOL...35 hours of MP3s...???? There is no CF slot so you will have to buy a $400 1gb MS pro and that will only fit 15 hours. I just bought a 30gb iPod for $400 so.... unit is neat-looking but I will wait for OS6. An OS upgrade is the real sign of a new generation
of Clies....

bluetooth is a waste in the U.S.
while ceratin areas have it some carriers will never even promte it ever like Verizon
wifi big deal i hardly use it now on pda, personally if ai m going to go wifi i use my laptop
onyl thing is neat is the landscape but with the crappy camera and i am sure higher price point i would wait until next models that come out around november

Copy this and paste it onto babelfish to get it in english.
http://www.sony.jp/products/Consumer/PEG/PEG-UX50/spec.html
Babel Fish (http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr)
In the specs it says that yes it does have 104 MB but of that again only 16 MB is user accessible. aw too bad.

Yeah too bad about the lack of CF storage - since i just invested in a 1GB CF card. Mind you I totally agree that if you're serious about MP3s you need to invest in the iPod.... still the coolest bit of HW around.
