garbage in Palm reader on NX70

I am getting garbage on the screen, looks like only the top fourth of the letters are showing. Any clues/advice.

What version of PalmReader are you using?

Where did the document come from? Palm Digital Media or is it one you converted?

Did you just install PalmReader? Did you try reinstalling to make sure nothing's corrupted?

Did you try reinstalling the document in question to make sure it was OK?

I've got it working fine on my NX. I'm using ver 2.2. Mostly with books I've converted myself using DocInOut...

you need palm reader version 1.2

I have done no conversions, perhaps that is the problem.
Where can I get DocInOut?

sorry version 2.0.2 got files from news group and they worked fine on the Palm 505

With an older version of PalmReader I had something similar happen once but the the whole book turn to garbage. A reset cleared it up.

I use the free reader and have upgraded to 1.2.2 and, so far, I haven't seen any recurrence.

Sorry. I use PalmReader Pro and it's up to 2.2. I wasn't thinking about that, but it doesn't sound like you have the most recent version.

You may also want to consider d/l'ing it from Palm Digital Media.
