Does anyone know if Palm needs additional RAM set aside for "overhead" to run programs or media off Memory Sticks? For example, if I'm down to a few hundred K, does the stick need to get accessed more frequently (thus slowing things down) than if I have 4megs left in RAM (analagous to a computer with 64megs versus 1gig). Maybe the CLIE uses the 5 "stolen" megabytes for this function.

Thanks

No, it will either run or crash, there is no in-between.

Additionally it does not have a dynamic swap file like windows has.

You need enough for the program to load the app and run it.
