I own a CLIE NX70V. Initially, I was excited about upgrading to NX80V but now I changed my mind.
I read the fine print (and played with NX80V at a store) and found out that only 16 meg of RAM is availble for users to store files and programs (although the total RAM size is 32 meg).
Since 1.3 mega pixel is still kinda useless to me, I will be happier if SONY get rid of a camera and add more RAM to 64 meg (like Tungsten).
Why do I need more RAM?
I have a GPS for Clie and it works great. Maps can be stored on a memory stick but when you are using mapopolis, maps have to be loaded into internal RAM. With only 16 meg (with other personal apps installed, you have less than 16), I'm unable to load contiguous maps. A city like Los Angeles has 4 separate maps.
I think I'll upgrade when Sony adds more RAM in a future clie and gets rid of useless built-in camera.
Is it wishful thinking?
NX70V fan.
