I quess I am still confused on how to know which programs can go on a Memory Stick rather than my NX60?

And, I am also confused on the whole installing to the Memory Stick.

As a matter of fact, what is the install procedure for any of these programs.

I just need some basic info on this.

Thanks for the help,

You install applications to the Clie and Memory Stick via the Palm Desktop. If you simply double-click the application you want to install, it will show up in the Install window of the Palm Desktop. Or, you can click on the Install icon in the left toolbar of Palm Desktop, click Add, then browse to find your application and click Open.

By default the application is set to be installed to the handheld. (You can see this under the destination column in the Install window). If you prefer it to go to the MS, just click 'Change Destination' and move the app to the memory stick column.

This is a quick rundown, but more details can be found in the manual.

As to which apps to install on the handheld vs the MS, this is up to you and how you want to manage the RAM on the handheld. Not all apps can run successfully off the MS. Usually the documentation with the app will tell you whether it can run off an expansion card. Just try it and see. If there is a rather large app that you really want on the MS but it does not have that functionality, you can use a 3rd party app, such as PowerRun.

PowerRun will let you store an app on the MS, and when you launch it, it will copy the app to the internal RAM of the handheld, and will move it back to the MS when you exit the app.
