Just got my clie

Greetings to all. I just got my T665. I was using a Vx before and would want to ask for tips in mirgating my existing data. I read on one thread that I is best to uninstall the old desktop software that came with Palm? before installing the one that came with this Clie. Any comments and tips will be highly appreciated!

New. Probably one of the last stocks though. The box was kinda beat up. The installer disk was still sealed in its box.

I got a T-665 back in April from CompUSA for $229.99...it appeared in one of their Sunday Fliers (I think it was a misprint that they decided to honor, a friend of mine manages there and told me that the sale price during that week was $30.00 below their cost and that Sony was probably "blowing them out" to make room for newer models). When that ad hit, I immediately contacted Sonystyle and got a return authorization for my then 28 day-old PEG-T615 (refurbished/$199/ONLY 90 day warranty!). I have noticed recent ads featuring the PEG-T665C for about $249, in this case, you get a free "starter kit". My suggestion would be to contact your local CompUSA to see if they have some, or if they can have any transferred from other locations. If you can't get to CompUSA, Sonystyle is offering it for $199 (refurb./ONLY 90 day warranty). Essentially, the replacement for the T-665 is the PEG-SJ33, personally, I like the aluminum case of the T-665 vs. the plastic one of the SJ-33, and the hard flip cover would drive me nuts...especially after the first few scratches on it!!!

Asked the help of the distributors of Sony here in the Philippines. They got the unit from one of thier resellers who hasn't sold it yet.
Got if for 16K+ pesos, roughly about 300 USD.

I think I still saw 2 silver editions and 2 Orange editions of the T665C (Brand New not refurb) still up for sale in one of the better stores here. They are priced a little bit higher though.
