I checked the databases and the PEG-NZ90 is in the BB database for release on 2/16/03. From looking at it, it didnt look like our store was gonna get a whole bunch of them..
Enjoy.

Does that mean store will have them on 2-16? Or it will be shipped on 2-16?

I've talked to a few BB reps, and they said that the NZ cost too much so they ain't gonna get it. Thats weird.

Buy one from Japan on Feb 8 if you don't mind the Japanese version and character...

But, as far as I know, there aren't any Best Buys in Japan(correct me if I'm wrong). It's not that it won't be available anywhere, it's whether it will be available in Best Buys or not. Btw, like I can understand Japanese..yea right!

If one only buys from Best Buys, then his / her life is very simple and peaceful indeed. As a potential buyer of NZ90, I would like to get a feel on the real thing. Purchasing channel and price differential are less relevant for me if the PDA's features and hence its utilization suit me.

I agree, I would want to check this thing out at the store before buying... but when and if I am ready to I will probably buy online. I found this site that is offerring the NZ for $725.00.

How much are you paying for it and where are you buying it from? 79,800 yen equals to about $650 to my calculation

I'm pretty sure that the parallel importers WILL bring both the Japanese and US versions of NZ to Hong Kong soon after their release, such like the previous models. Sony Hong Kong are accepting booking of SJ33 at HK$2480 and will deliver the black one next week. Hope they can launch NZ90 as quick as SJ33.
Just found Harmony Computers advertised for $719.
Oops jumped the gun- Found an even better price of $696.80 at techonweb.com

I settled with amazon.com. I liked their return policy (no restocking fee), fairly decent reputation, and saving $40 or so bucks was good enough.

I'll patiently wait to read your reviews of the NZ. So far, I haven't been able to justify spend'in my lotto winnings on this thing. I guess the Sony philosophy is right: build it and they will cum. ;-)

Nice - ignorance and obscenity in the same sentence. Not often you see that.
And another seagull meets my ignore button...

I don't even know where he was going with that one....oh, well. I don't care.

Trust me - the implied double meaning is obscene. (based on his choice of spellings)
My ignore list just gets bigger and bigger

So, let me get this right. The NZ-90 can be used as a marital aid?
(Sorry, it was a slow night)

I know what it MEANS, trust me, I do. I'm married with 2 kids, I better know. But I didn't understand his point, , why, who would care, for who, for what, etc., etc., etc.... you get my point? I meant that came from left field. As I said, I didn't know where he was GOING with that one, but I know where he was COMING from. (Yes, I am awarre of the spelling.) ;)

I've been wondering, how can this post mesh with the other post regarding Best Buy and their apparent unwillingness to stock the Clie?
I highly doubt that different Best Buy's have different stocking methodologies -- I'm pretty sure there's one central purchasing agent that stocks up local stores as required.
Is somebody misinformed?
