Can anyone point me to any hacks that force the Clie to stay on?
I would like to stay on while I am surfing wirelessly while connected to my verizon phone. I hate connecting to the net, and then going somewhere, then coming back only to find that my connection is lost because my palm automatically turned off.

I couldn't find where I found ATool that I use on my NX. The link was originally provided by a ClieSource user. So I have attached the file here, how long it will take to show up, is anyone's guess:).

I use AOCtrl DA which gives me a wide variety of auto off intervals, including never. Very handy when I want to override the preference setting for auto off.

thanks guys. So far the only program I could find was called PowerOn, and it only has two features: stay on, or turn off after 3 min. I want some more customization, like maybe stay on for 15 min after no use? This AOCtrl DA looks pretty cool I will download when I get home.

WOW - it's so seldom I get to contribute lately, but I think I might be helpful on this one. A great site for stuff like this is
http://www.tankerbob.com/palm/
The way I force my Clie to stay on is to go to the Memo pad and enter the following via graffiti:
type the shortcut symbol
then make 3 taps (like your making 3 periods)
then write the number "3"
[No Auto-Off] will appear in the memo field.
To reset, just go to preferences and select any auto-off option
Good luck

Take into account that does not work with OS 5

Tried and worked on my NX. Lots of other shortcuts listed as well.
