WN XP won't recognize my clie

I've been using my Sony Clie S- 360 with my WinXP computer without any big problems for months now. And then it hit. Three days ago I went to HotSync and it wouldn't work. I tried unplugging the usb cable, and replugging it in. and Windows aid it did not recognize the hardware. Hmmmmmm

I uninstalled the Whole thing, software and alll, reinstalled and nothing happened. It still will notlet me hotsync because it does not recognize the hardware.


Any ideas? Anyone? Anyone had a similar problem like this? With XP? Thanks Guys!

I had a problem recently with XP not detecting my T665 too. What I did was switch the usb cable to a different set of usb ports and then restart my computer a couple times. It works fine now.

Try to uninstall (clean everything and find all files associated with the clie software including the driver) and reinstall.

I really hate Sony when they tell you to do this, they should have a better application that is friendlier than what they provide now. Usually this will solve it.
