If the NX really has different connector wirings and that prohibits a timely keyboard release, why do the same GPS connectors work on NR, NX, and T series?

From my understanding, the connectors are the same. One of the pins has an altered logic state, that would need a pull-up resistor to make it functional on the NX. Keep in mind, I have heard this from others, but personally haven't seen this with my own two eyes. The pin outs and schematic still look identical to me.

oh, thanks for the info. So likely the GPS unit simply doesnt use the altered logic state pin. Makes sense.
