LauncherX - unable to launch(!)

Just got my NX70 and decided to try LauncherX after all the good things I heard about it.

Downloaded from palmgear. Unzipped. Installed in my Clie. Then the problem started.

When I try to run the program an error message appears saying LXBrowser.prc is required. No such file in the zipped download.

I sent an enquiry to the developer. No reply after a week.

Can somebody shed some light on this?

I have been very happy with ZLauncher and the developer support is superb!

I happily use LauncherX on my NX70V. When you install the LauncherX.prc file, it then explodes a few more .prcs once run on the Clie. Maybe you should delete yours and try re-installing, making sure you have about 500k for it to expand during the install. You could also try downloading it directly from www.launcherx.com .

Actually I have already downloaded the zipfile from www.launcherx.com when the first download(from palmgear) failed. However, upon inspection, the files appeared the same. So, I did not re-install.

There is definitely a difference since the second download works!!

I 'm having the same problem. I had LauncherX working just fine on my NR70V, then I had to hard reset. Now I can't get it to install. My clie freezes every time.

I have tried using the file downloaded from launcherx.com, but the same thing happens.

Any suggestions?

Downloading directly from the launcherx.com website is the solution that helped me fix this problem....

also, due to this issue, i picked up backupbuddy.... won't have to worry 'bout that again...
