Well, I wonder if I am facing the present situation of Eruware driver (1.2) bugs in my Clie:
Dual Mode, Cache ON, Auto Mount
Recording Camera: No records on CF, but it saves on MS no matter you check Priority MS or MS.
Recording Movies: NOT possible; it gives a "Multimedia error"
Cache ON, Mount Card, MS Cloaking
Recording Camera: OK; it saves on CF!
Recording Movies: OK, but it causes a soft reset after being saved in CF; after that you can see the clip recorded in CF!
If I am wrong I would like to know the correct setting for saving photos and movies (clips) in CF...
Thanks ;)

I have the same issues, if I take out the ms I can usually save pics to the cf card.

I'm having the same problem...NX70V Here..
NOT Happy!:(
As the issue with recording directly to CF is still not fully supported, many improvements are still required in that area. IMHO. I move files to CF Card, free up space in MS for regular recording for now. :(

Thanks Eddy for your reply...that means the Eruware site is misleading…I purchased the drive under the impression that I can do all these above with it….

Well... I'd assume the guys there are still working effortlessly & you've a full life time upgrade, video direct recording could be just a corner away. who knows? :) IMHO

did you read the issues list? it says there is a problem with recording...
eddy, i can record movies to my 1 gig sandisk... when i stop recording, i get a fatal exception, it does a soft reset, and the file is fine...
you keep saying your 1 gig sandisk is collecting dust...
does your system act the same as mine? it's a small pain, but it works..

Thanks greg, you mean the temp. file after the soft-reset? Then rename it back and it's a playable video, right? :)
it's a small pain, but it works..
you've a good point about that, we've the same brand 1G CF, it's just me personally... :D

The issue is with the Movie app not being multiVFS aware. Most 3rd party apps run fine. Even on the new NX's with Sony's own built-in drive, has issues. Sony did everything possible to make impossible. How else are they going to push their memory sticks

yeah, you're right on that! :D
not only "No Pain, No Gain", but time consuming as well, that's why I'm choosing the alternative...lazy :D
Mainly because I already have a 256MB CF that serves me right? :D
yep yep, many SONY Memory Sticks still to sell off, so no API... :D
