Welp, a bigger depreciation i would say. Since 256,000,000 / 1,048,576 = 244.140625, not 237 but what I think it's the formatting in the memory stick pro.

sad but everytime I buy a memory stick I feel cheated in a way. If they say 256 MB, 128 MB etc. I think they should make sure IT IS so.
I got a 1Gb MS Pro.....but really it's 949.

I think sony's definition of a byte or a kilobyte is 1000 instead of the 1024 which it should be.

Do you feel the same way about buying a hard drive or a blank CD/DVD, because it's the same thing. It's just the way computer storage of any type has been handled. A shame, but that's the way it goes.

So long it's work faster than other medias in playing and recording videos and images, I don't mind the small difference in size.

ms pro wont really support sonic stage
yes, it's not suppose to work with SonicStage. IMHO
& 237 seems to be correct number figure for MS Pro 256MB MS.
Sony's deceptive advertisment, & the magicgate function. :)
