Howdy, Folks:
I havent' posted in a while, but I was loading a couple of trial versions of a spanish-english dictionary and noticed 2 things, 1st the"connection " of my desktop hot synch kept coming up as an error, and after a couple of desk reboots it would work fine, then 2nd, when I tried to delete the SlovoEd dictionary, and load the LLL"Gold " dictionary I got a fatal error, --MemoryMgr.c, Line:3564,NULL Handle--
No amount of soft resets will change it, and Im not too comfortable W/hard resets. I read N2fip's post about resets in this forum, But I havent used Ms backup, OR Jackflash, so Ive only got my desktop and stock Clie apps loaded- with the exception of a few costly Skyscape Nursing med Programs, and my to-do-schedule-phone data, I silo, etc.
So Where do I go from Here? Any hand -Holding THRU thr Hard reset and re-load Apps description would be MUCH Appreciated.
Cheers, Funky_Buddha

This is a shot in the dark. Do you have a memory stick? The app you just deleted, although I don't know how you did it and I will assume that you did delete the right files, but maybe not all of them.

Copy that app to the memory stick using MS Import in concert with the Windows Explorer desktop file manager to a spare folder. Then use ClieFiles to copy to RAM, then do a pin reset and keep your fingers crossed. There maybe one locked file by the OS that you missed and it's looking for the other files you had deleted. Always use the pulldown menu in the default standard launcher and select delete.

Keep in mind, that any app that does not specifically state that it is OS5 compatible, assume it's NOT.

Let me know how works out, Thanks!
