View Full Version : What happend to the Brando PDAir Metal Case for TG50??

Hey Everyone...

Just wondering if anyone knows what happend to the brando metal case. It's no longer on their website. Was gonna order it soon but now I can't :-( For those of you who already have it on order.. is it still coming? Or did they discontinue it?

I hope its not been discontinued, its been on their site for only a few weeks. I would have bought this case anytime over the innopocket one. Would be interesting to see if any pending orders would be fulfilled.

So I finally decided to email Brando after their metal PDAir case for the TG50 was MIA for a few days on their site.

Bad news.. i'ts been discontinued and they don't plan to sell any more units in the future.

Good news... they apparently do have another metal case in development that they will sell later.

Not so good news.. they have no schedule or timeline as to when this case will be available.

So that's the story I guess.  Was really looking forward to this case tho.  I really want a metal case but don't like the Innopocket one because of it's size and especially after the reviews.  Anyone else know of any other metal cases in development?

I wonder why it was discontinued, some design flaws may be?? Would be interesting to see whats in development.

Hm, they didn't go into any more detail than that? I don't want to trust it if there's some sort of flaw....

think the quality is not that good. my friend got a metal case from brando for his tungsten, it was flimsy and the hinges were really crappy ..the metal quality was also quite cheapo. but dont get me wrong. i have their pdair leather case and its lovely and still nice after 1 + months. brando is also good with their customer service . :)

I hope you get what you ordered because the case has now been replaced by the innopocket case at Brando (http://shop.brando.com.hk/clietg50metalcase.php).
