Broken Camera

For some reason the camera is broken on my unit.

Everything else is fine, just when I try to take a picture the screen is blank, fizzes a bit and then goes blank again.

I have tried hard reset, but even that does not work.

Has anyone any ideas?

How are Sony about repairs, are they normally quite reasonable?

Yeap..sorry to hear about that....you can try calling sony for a quotation... I never had my camera breakdown before... but If it's too expensive, you might as well skip the repair. The camera aint too good anyway.
