View Full Version : my FileZ does not like v3bhack

I just find out that FileZ display wierd image (large) whenever the v3bhack is enabled and back to normal lowres image when the v3bhack is disabled.  Does anyone else have the same problem?

The only difference I see between "with" and "without" v3bhack enabled is the fonts are fuzzy on the Edit Files/Information/Preferences screen without it and nice and sharp with it. Otherwise, anywhere else in FileZ all looks the same.

PS - the icons in the file view are sharp with and a little fuzzy without.

What version are you using of v3bhack. I'm using v0.5. I hadn't used Filez in a while, now that I use ZLauncher, but I reinstalled it and my results were the same as wellsjs. V3bhack seems to make Filez look much sharper. The Filez version I used was v5.22.

wellsjs & sebring, thanks for your comments. It sounds like the worldmate spirit is back in my Clie.

I have FileZ5.22 and v3bhack0.5. Below are screenshots of what I'm talking about:

Weird. I'm going to try to uninstall and reinstall FileZ and see if that takes care the glitch.

Update: I reinstalled FileZ, but still SOS.  I put FileZ in MS.

I have FileZ 5.1 and I get the same thing. Also the selection checkmarks show up huge!

Either of you using Switchdash? That screenshot looks like the kind of display problems I had with Switchdash.

Here is what Filez looks like on my Clie with v3bhack enabled.

I was able to duplicate your screenshot if I disabled Hires assist for Filez and enabled v3bhack. I get my screenshot if I have both hires assist for Filez and v3bhack enabled.

That looks nice and sharp Sebring. Unfortunately I don't use Switchdash either.

Fortunately that only happens on the skin, the buttons behind the skin still work. I just need to use my X-Ray vision to see the button behind the curtain and tap on it. So no biggy.

Thanks for the tip.  You help me again buddy!  It works!  All I did was to put a check on Enable High Resolution Assist w/o any exceptions in the Preferences Hires.

Now that my Clie is looking good again, I start to notice outside is looking great too. Rain had stopped. We are ready to head up to Houston to see the fireworks tonight. Yea! :D

Well, my wife wanted to play Bejewelled! and guess what? It has shrunk to 1/8th of its original size. I have posted the detail problem here (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19474), just in case anyone knows how to fix it and would like to share to solution. Thanks.

Thanks to Tankerbob in the other thread, Bejewelled problem solved with SwitchDash! Apparently you need to uncheck the Hires assist if you want to use SwitchDash. I had both on. :rolleyes: I have forgotten about SwitchDash works the same as Hires assist.  While Hires assist works only for those apps in RAM, SwitchDash can do it for those apps in RAM and also in MS.
