For those of you interested, I have hosted a kinoma format wide screen edition of the matrix reloaded trailer. It will only be hosted on my site for 2 days (1/28 and 1/29) then it will be moved into my kazaa folder and shared from then on.

Note: Only viewable on the NR and NX series.

I had the same problem... I had to convert it to an MPEG and then convert it with Image Converter. But that turns it into an MPEG4 format, so your mileage may vary with the Kinoma version.

id be more interested in FINDING these on Kazaa..its impossible!!..what key words do you use?..i looked for Kinoma or Clie and I get nothing..how would I circumvent this so that my own Kinoma Videos can be shared?

When I put it in my kazaa folder I will create a unique username which I will post here to make it easier to find. That way if you find one file from me you can do "others by same user."

PS: It is possible that having it work on the NX series is kind of iffy since I didn't have an NX to test it on when I created it. I'm sure it'll work on the NR though.

I've also converted the latest Matrix trailer to Kinoma format. If you'd like to download it, go to www.mjpd.com/matrix, and click on the filename. It's a little larger in filesize than Robs (about5mb), probably due to the higher audio setting and bitrate.

(ie: Original file size and then what settings on Kinoma)

im trying to get the HULK one...so far no one has it...help!!

I started with the Matrix Reloaded trailer, downloaded in Quicktime format. Total filesize was 23.8MB.
Then I brought that into Kinoma Producer for conversion.
Instead of trying to tell you what the settings are, I'll just show you...

By the way, just to let everyone know, I'm currently converting the entire collection of BMWFilms to Clie format. 2 down, 8 to go. They're going to vary in size, but mostly 25-30MB each. I'll start a new thread when they're done and let everyone know where they can download them. Just wanted to let people know in advance;)

I dunno what the difference is between converting from MPG or MOV formats. I've done both thus far and haven't noticed any difference.

Yeah, 'Used to ...' probably they were 'used tOO much' and therefor no longer available.

BTW, You are converting the *newer* films or the *older* ones?

I've converted ALL of the BMW Films, minus "The Follow", because BMW took that off their site for some reason. So that's the only video I'm missing out of season 1. If anyone has it, I'd love to get a hold of it. The files range in size from 20MB, up to 42MB (Powder Keg, the longest of the films). Grand total for them all is 286MB. Sorry, but I was more concerned with quality than filesize. As soon as I free up enough space on my web server, I'll get them posted for people to download if they want. I could stick them on Kazaa too. I know Verizon's got my back!

Okay just wondering if anyone has tried to look for my stuff on Kazaa..tonight ill be converting a lot of Movie preview stuff like "X-men 2" and "daredevil" and "charlies angels - Full throttle" and also the new Hulk (superbowl commercial) trailer

My nick is "mynameismas" and try to search for an "Alicia Keys - Girlfriend" music video Mpeg file of about 42mb (most out there are 40MB so it can help a little in finding me). I removed all my PC-version videos from my Main folder except that...also a Shrek DIVX 700+mb file (thats my next kinoma project)

Rob_Squared...is there another File in your folder that I can look for so that I can find you???

Hey Mas, why dont you just add a dummy file called 'mynameismas' so ppl can find you even easier. Ppl definately need kinoma movies on kazaa, any d/l tips on how to find them?

You know i just noticed something...all my Palm kinoma videos are under the "OTHER" section in my kazaa folder..

So heres what Im going to do

ALL my Kinoma Vid files ill change the extension to ".mpg" and then under the descriptions ill have it say

(Kinoma - change video to .pdb)

THAT should make it a lil bit easier to do. Opinions????

PS Xlr8 - GOOD idea bro!!!!!..consider it done..ill make a WAV file of my voice telling people to change the mpg extensions to .pdb

Had the same problem with Kinoma format. The playback was sizzling but no audio. Then I drag the file into image converter and it works without a hitch. Try it!
