what is the difference between Iambic Time Reporter and Iambic Alltime? Obviously Time Reporter is $150 and AllTime is $40. I installed demos of both on my Clie and they seem to be the same thing.

AllTime is only a PalmApp....TimeReporter is Palm and Windows. If you only want to use it on your Palm, go with AllTime and export data to memopad. If you want to hotsynce data to a windows app, you go with TimeReporter.

Long ago I started with AllTime then went to TimeReporter 3.2. When TR4.0 came out in beta they had changed things in the desktop that made it unusable for me. I created a HanDbase database that better suits my needs and it was a lot cheaper than the upgrade and the hassle of trying to workaround the TR4.0 changes. I use PocketReport to export and print my data from the HanDbase file and it works just like AllTime. IMHO..HanDbase and PocketReport is a more flexible solution.

Hope this helps,
Jim

I just downloaded and tried out Times 2.2. It hotsyncs to an Access database and has invoicing and payment capability on the desktop side. Or you can export it to an Excel file. It is only 19.95 and has a good bit of potential.
