lost audio player remote... HELP!

One of my worst fears has been realized. I lost my audio player remote and have been busted down to using just a standard pair of headphones without the ability to manipulate my music while keeping my NX in a pocket. It's funny how something so simple can be so important when you don't have it... OHMYGOD it's rather difficult to use the audio player w/o the remote.

I've exausted all of my options (i.e sonystyle) to replace my remote... Could someone possibly direct me somewhere where I can replace my beloved remote (don't really care about the headphones)?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I would call Sony and ask them for it. They may or may not be able to help, but that's as good a place as any to start...

I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure the wand uses a standard (for Sony) audio interface. My brother used to have a minidisc player that used one that looked very much like it.

I believe the NX version has fewer pins...

I believe the wand is the same throughout the Clie line, however -- maybe you could find an N760C or NR70/V user who's willing to part with it?

You have several choices

1. Go on eBay, they (remotes) show up periodically

2. Order one from www.sony.com/accessories or 1-800-488-7669

Getting the right part number is the hard part, but I don't know if it's correct??

While your waiting, you should be able to plug into the Clie with your headphones and still listen to tunes, minus the remote control.

That's what I've been doing in the interim. Call me spoiled, but it's such an inconvenience and I have learned my lesson, I won't take that remote for granted again.
