I went to his site and downloaded a bmwfilm for the NX. I have a T665. I then extracted the file to my desktop. I then went to Kinoma Producer to convert - it did not work. Please help. I have been at this for hours. Thanks.

Yo' 'Z3',
Your best bet is to drop Marcus a line on the site. I know that he's been busy with his "day job" of late, but he does respond to emails sent directly to him via the mjpd site.
I'm not sure about the format for the T665, (I've got an NX) but the content on Marcus' site has already been run through Kinoma Producer and as you can see in the site's organization, it's specific (for the audio) to NRs and NXs. Have you tried simply viewing the BMW film using the Kinoma Player app on your T665? You may find the audio for your T665 aligns more closely with the NR films...I'm pretty sure that the NX category won't do you much good on your PDA.

I think all the files on his site are already converted to be used with kinoma...
You should have gotten a .pdb file when extracting.

I've tried this on my old T665... it doesn't work, if you get the NR version of the video, you'll be able to hear the sound but you'll only see a part of the image... that's becouse of the size of your screen vs. NR's screen.

If Kinoma format files are for NR only, you better to d/l files for NX (MQV), update your QuickTime (can play MQV files w/o any problem). Then you can use Kinoma Producer to convert it, select settings which fits your T655.

Sorry Z3 but I'm still working on compatible formats for handhelds such as the T665, and other 320x320 apps. The problem is finding a format that is compatible with the majority of handhelds, instead of just doing one format per handheld. That'd be a lot of work and storage space. And if your name is any indication of what kind of car you own, why are you even playing with this stuff? Go DRIVE SOMEWHERE!!!:)

The movies in .pdf format have no sound when played in NX70V's Kinoma Player, is there any solution ?

That should be .pdb file. Kinoma still can't support CLIE audio in OS 5 CLIE. So, if you d/l Kinoma video for OS 3.5/4 CLIE (N, NR, T, etc), of ocurse there has no sound. Only can do is using Yamaha ADPCM instead of CLIE audio during encodng, but you need to get source file to encode file again.
Kinoma can't support high-quality (CLIE audio) auido is already listed in Kinoma web site FAQ and this forum already... That's known issue.

I knew it is .pdb, it is just a typo that I realized it after I sent out the message.
