How to view a film in Kinoma?

I went to BMSfilms and downloaded a wMP file. What is the next step. Thanks.

Kinoma (as far as I know) does not support wmp files. You will have to convert it. I don't know the details as to what programs to convert it with, or to what file extension etc. Can someone follow up on me? Thx.

Yeah, Kinoma doesn't support the conversion of of WMP files. They need to be converted to MPG, AVI, or MOV in order for Kinoma to recognize it. There are various programs available for doing it. It's been so long since I did the BMWFilms that I forget which program I used though. Try Google, or www.afterdawn.com. That's a great resource for ripping and converting movies to various formats.
