Is there a single place or thread that summarizes the NX70 CF status? What can be done? What does work? What doesn't work? What are the exact steps? What is the latest patch?
It would be great to have this and other important information imortanilzed in an FAQ section at Cliesource.
So much has happened and been developed in the last few weeks my head is still spinning.

Ditto. I was away on vacation before this all came to pass, and now I'm attempting to play catch up.
same here, the info. on the drivers fly by so quickily, but here's a few thread that are, IMHO, the main Highlights with the NX73 CF Driver.
I've tried this myself, it's a simple one from CliePet. :)
Using the NX73 CF Driver - day 1 (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18469)
Hacking the NX73 CF Driver - day 2 (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18553)
Hacking the NX73 CF Driver - day 3 (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18696)
Hacking the NX73 CF Driver - day 4 (of 4) (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18731)
& then somemore... too many to list. :D
Oh, then day 5 by Glacialeye.
IMHO, I felt after day 4, it was working good enough for my usage, so didn't follow on to day 5. But here it is.....:p
Hacking the NX73 CF Driver - day 5 (GlacialEye hits again) (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18794)
Here's another one by pelaca. (I've not tried this one yet)
About DataImport & CF Utility, how to get AudioPlayer to read MP3 from both MS & CF at the same time.

... not exactly... but almost!!
Last time I tried playing with the drivers I did just the regular CF [not 3-bit] thing and I was running into problems with hard resets, the flash player not working properly and confused apps that didn't know what to do with two cards.
Over the weekend when I have some time I'll try again from the begining.
I think a FAQ would be good for those [maybe like me] who need concise instructions in one place from A to Z - and not spead out and tweaked over at least 7 threads. It's also good for those who came late to the party and didn't know about all the threads.

I have been trying to get an official FAQ forum for quite some time...no one seems to be listening, so don't hold your breath.

What doesn't work [for me]:
AcidImage - freezes when reading directory trees
BackupMan - will only see the CF card for backups
Cardbackup - will only see the CF card for backups
Bonsai - will only see 'card 0'
OI don't have any issues with the 3-bit hack. And I am using AcidImage and Bonsai as well. Did you move them to CF?? I use them as often, I put them into Flash. But the Outlines or pics are stored on CF. I have despite this issues with audioplayer. It won't play MP3 from CF. Anyone can email me the MSProUpdate which works with the CF-Card??
thanx

I must remind everyone that all the CF hacking and stuff is not exactly legal and violates all of Sony's EULA and software agreements on it's support site. Consequently, ClieSource cannot sanction anything. Play dumb yes, sanction no. A FAQ section would in essence be condoning all what has happened.
Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, so it's just my humble opinion after reading much of Sony's license agreements. I am not against anything, just offering one possible reason why things sometimes are ignored, that's all ;).
