Sorry to be tedious, repeating a question that I'm sure loads of people have asked; but do we have a definitive answer as to whether there is any way of accessing hotmail on a Clie, please? I believed all the stuff from Microsoft about web-based e-mail being the answer to the meaning of life, but I'm beginning to wonder now...

You can find it here, enjoy!

That is a very strange link - the zip file is of something which certainly doesn't want to be opened by any programme known to Microsoft! Does anyone know what a .prc file is?

You will need Winzip or WinRar to open the .zip file if you do not have XP. A .prc is a program for the palm.

I tried WebPro V this morning but I couldn't log in. I got the message that a secure connection could not be established.

jwsp - soon you will become all to familiar with prc and pdf files. you should have at least winzip and/or winrar on your computer.

inginious - you either need a connection via a cell phone as the modem (via ir or bluetooth or cable), or via some sort of landline modem (cf modem, ir modem, sled)

timw_de - did you actually log into your hotmail account, or the hotmail site? if you logged into your hotmail account, what site did you go through? did you have cookies enabled, and what was (if any) your cache size on webpro?

unregistered... you may cause forther confusion for jwsp because of a typo. i do believe that you mean that he will become familiar with prc and pd-B- files... not adobe acrobat pdfs : )
