some help with mem stick for SJ20, please!

I want to buy an SJ20 and i was wonderring if i could download the updates to my address book and the schedule to the memory stick. the thing is, i travel a lot and will not have my computer with me to synchronize, and what if the battery goes off????

You can manually backup your DatebookDB to MS and restore it back to RAM. I use FileZ (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?sid=75605620030109120040&prodID=9992) for that, not MSGate. The easiest thing to do is to have a backup copy of your whole RAM to MS using MSBackup that comes with the Clie. Don't you want to get everything (the mirror image of your RAM) back after the battery goes off or after a hard reset? That is what MSBackup for.
