I've searched through the current threads and couldn't find the answer to this question: Is it possible to edit a .MQV file directly and still have it be recognized as a valid file by Movie Player?
I have about 4 seconds of video in my .MQV conversion of ''The Matrix'' which I want to delete. Apparently the DVD skipped back a bit when I was using DVDx to make the .MPG file. Dirt or something.
Stupidly, I've already deleted the .AVI file I made in Virtual Dub and also the .MPG from DVDx, so I can't edit the originals. I don't really want to spend the time and edit out my 4 seconds, save the file as .MQV and then end up exporting that file (using Quicktime) back into some other format and then back to .MQV with Image Converter again.
I've already tried editing out my bit in Quicktime and then just saving. When you try to play the file in Movie Player, it doesn't recognize it as a valid movie format.
Please help! Thanks. :)
